It's boring? What really make a dashboard interesting? It has all it needs and wouldn't look too out of place on a new car. And to Blu, whats that door-lookin' thing to the right of the steering wheel? Mine appears to be broken.

probably the ashtray. yeah. Every maverick owner seems to only take pics of the outside of the car and not the inside, so I don't even know how much my car is missing.

Ok I guess PAINTANK makes your point. That dash is intresting.
Problem with most dashes to me isn't how they look, it's the function. That dash PAINTANK is showing looks good but I bet a few of the gadgets probobly fail in operation. The newer dashes are mostly plastis and no padding. I love my dash...now :D

Yes, that's an ashtray. I use it to store my gas key and a .380 clip. I had taken it completly apart and sand blasted the pieces, painted them then riveted it back together. Looks new inside and out, front and back :).

    Thanks for the compliments too.

My car came with a dash tray so I keep my paperwork for the police that love to pull me over in my ashtray. I don't smoke so it's perfect.

I have paid more in tickets than I did for the car...:drive:

[IMG]i looked into swaping my dash with another cars dash. i found out that mustang dashes from the 60s 80s 90s and 2000s are all the same width as ours. i was looking at the fiber glass dashes that they have for these cars and the cost kept me from doing it. i ended up having a friend help be make a really cool alum. dash.
