The guy i work with is just finishing up his 65 mustang eleanor clone, looks sweet. Anyway he gave me all his unused parts, ex. bumpers headlight bezels quarters extensions etc. Anyway i was just going to sell them on ebay but i got curious and took the front bumper and set it on my 74 maverick, and its the perfect width and matches the contour very well, but the brackets have to modified a little bit which is pretty easy. So 64-66 mustang front bumpers fit mavericks. I dont think that 67-68 ones will because the 67-68s are wider that the older versions, and it gotme thinking which started my new project on my car, if 65-66 bumpers fit, they make E2 body kits for mustangs which is the eleanor front bumper and all other accesories for the narrower mustangs. So i am currently trying figure a way to put the eleanor kit on my 74 maverick, i will post pictures during the process. Eleanor parts are very very very expensive so its hard trying to do this during college.

    Hope it helps

I put a mustang rear bumper on a maverick and if i shortened the brackets you could never know it was from a mustang and i was told it wouldnt work on here.

I mean its about an inch longer in both sides if any of you have a 73 with those rubber extensions it will fit perfect. It sticks out about an inch from the body but if i was really interested in using the bumper you would never know and any none maverick person would never know

Yeah but if you wanted to use the bumper i bet you could do a little bit of bracket work to make it fit tight
