I have a 70 Maverick that has been converted to a V8. The power steering rack has been removed along with the pump and associated hardware. I have replaced the upper and lower control arms on both sides along with all inner and outer tie rods. I need to replace the pitman arm on the dr side. Since I have replaced everything else I am wondering if a manual steering center link, idler arm and pitman arm will bolt in without major changes to what I have already done? Will it all bolt right in or do I have to change the steering box as well?

not completely sure on this but knowing that the power steering is just a add on i dont see no reason for replacing the box none of the assisting power components actual attach to it

Yes, if you have a manual center link, pitman arm and idler arm from the same year as your car, there is no problem swapping these parts in. The inner tie rod ends are slightly different on the early years vs. the later years. According to MOOG the tie rod ends change in 1975 so make sure that you use a 74 and older manual center link. Or you can just document that you need to use the later inner tie rod ends for your next front end rebuild.

According to the shop manual both MANUAL and POWER boxes are 16:1.
