Welcome to the Madness of Old Cars from south of the border! Come join us at Silver Springs in Jan. By the way, Ken, your car is a former Georgia car, so it would fit right in at one of the Ga. meets. Actually 3 of mine came from there, too. Great looking black Maverick, gotta love black cars. One of my favorite cars is my black XR7 htp. Looking forward to seeing yours some day. Jim
Thumbs up on the Mav--Nice Job. Welcome to the Board>>>> From the Capital of the Midwest >>> The Windy City. Mojo
So, you have a hydraulic clutch setup on your T5... I'd love to know more about that, like what master/slave cylinders you used, pedal setup, etc. Got any pics of that?
we used reg clutch pedals out of a mustang and tilton master/slave cyl. goes where throw out baring goes. there is a speed perf part book there in there and there are diff ones. and i dont have any on the computer i have to get my pics scanned and try to upload... i have so many pics its sickening!!!! and for my bumpers we removed those metal round bolts welded it shut and did the body work to striaghten it and just kept bending on it till the whole thing looked straight and slick and got team collison in marietta to spray it.
p.s i do have AC!!!!!!!!!!!! exactly y when i wanted black i said heck no!!! not in thsi humid ga state and i got 74 and swapped everything even all wiring!!!!
wellwood clutch system is another...where the hydrolic throw out baring slides on the shaft that shaft has to b slightly turned down. (smaller so baring will slide on) where the old clutch arm pivets at, you have to cut the sides off it bc the throw out baring has a groove it sits in to keep it from spinning around. u can see it when u start to put it on. my family races and so thats y we went with that.
