was wondering if the 4 lug chrome modulers would fit on my 70 maverick if i used the longer acorn shaped lug nuts? i know they wont bolt up with the stock lug nuts. anyone tried or know if these will fit?

Dont know what a moduler is, but the 70 mustang and maverick are both 4 lug 5 1/2" bolt pattern.

i was told the rims were called "modulers" spelling probably is not correct, but they are supposed to be off a 70 mustang and were having problems getting them to bolt up on my 70 maverick, the lug nuts wont go through the holes to secure the rim.. im thinking i need to get some spacers and that might let the rims bolt up like they are supposed too.

Are they steel or aluminum wheels? Most non factory aluminum wheels take a nut that has a shank on it, not the acorn style. An exception would be an old ET or Cragar wheel that takes the uni lug nut and washer system. The shank goes thru the bolthole and helps center the wheel. The center hub is usually thicker on an aluminum wheel also, so the studs won't reach as far out. Newer factory aluminum wheels do use an acorn style nut, but most of those have metric threads....

I bet they are wheels off of a 1974-1978 Mustang. Totally different 4-lug bolt pattern.

Magnum 500s never came in 4-lug, although there may have been some 4-lug, 4-spoke wheels that had a similar design....I think they came on mid 70's Capris
