Junk yard find

    Look what I got today. I saw the passenger side a while ago in the office and I asked today if they had the driver's side
    . They did. $25 for both

    Oh look what they come from. '85 XCutlass 2 door
    They have the same angle mounting surface as a Mav. One problem is the holes don't line up, so I'll (you'll) have to fill one hole and drill 2 new ones on the passenger side

    Nice find.

    I went junkyard hopping yesterday, didn't see a maverick/comet in any of the 3 yards I went to.

    I bought a set off of a yellow Grabber a couple months ago, $40. There are tons of Mavericks in the junkyards around here. Not to mention all the ones in people's backyards. You can pick one up for damn near nothing around here!!! The only problem in the junkyard is finding good body panels. The forklift guys just mangle the things.

    I'm curious too. I've run around to so many jy's recently looking 4 parts with no luck.
