my son and I just got a maverick 3 weeks ago, looking for some floor pans and a way to hook up the passing gear linkage, it has a 4 barrel carter on it, the arms just not hooked to the carb, any one know where to get the parts
Welcome to the center of the Maverick/Comet universe!!! Edelbrock makes a kickdown adapter for the edelbrock carb which is a copy of the carter AFB 4V carb. As for floor pans...Get good pans from a donor or you can use 64 to 70 mustang pans which need some trimming mods to fit a mav. I put 65/66 stang front pans in my blue mav, heres a pic...
Welcome to the board. Unfortunately no one really makes much in the way of body parts for Mavericks. Donor cars are what usually comes into play.
Check www.autokrafters.com they have floor pans. Not sure of quality but they have them. Also, aboard the board from Calif.
