I have everything to do the v8 swap except for manifolds or headers and was wondering if it has to be maverick or comet or will something else work?

Oem cast iron ones must look like these. Main casting numbers are 9430 and 9431. Other numbers and letters are the year and what car they were installed on originally. I had these on a 64 Falcon and were on a 70 Torino before I got them.

Search for other posts. I believe there's some bent tubular ones that will work.

Hooker 6901 or Hedman 88300. These two are the prominant ones that people use. Theyre also available at a great price.

I use the hooker 6901's. You need a floor shift and no PS or a PS drop down bracket.:)

Do they look like the ones in the picture? Alot of drivers side ones fit, its the passenger side ones that are tricky. If they look like the ones in the pic give them a try. If not your SOL.

I was thinking it was the drivers side manifold that was Maverick specific? Hooker 6901's will fit good, that's what I'm running on mine.
