Hi my name is Joe, (login name molly). I'm joining into your community to share and exchange information with you. I'm 65 years old, I race gokarts with my son and 4 grandchildren. I experiment and build our race engines for karts, as well as automobiles. Currently, I am assembling the Maverick from a gutted car to a streetable machine with updated drivetrain components, such as acustom built Mustang II front suspension with rack and pinion. It has 11 inch discs upfront, 9 inch rear end, and any choice of gears from 3 to 1 down to 3.5 to 1. Stroker engine AOD transmission. I am definately not into bling, but definately into function. I love staight forward, clean cut, hot rods. I will be enquiring about options for installing a different break activation system. Looking forward to sharing information. PS. Does anybody have any information about dicast Prostock Mavericks. Best regards, Joe
Welcome from Hamilton. You'll like this board. Nice mix of people without the ignorance and trouble makers like some other forums. Great bunch of respectable guys on here(oops and a few girls ) Sounds like you'll be able to add some good info and experience to the board. Darren.

Thanks for the welcome...Yes I am that.I built my first rod coming out of highschool.Scince then I've build a few street machines of deferent makes, but I am die hard Ford. After a couple of decades abscence from rods,I started again.(because of my grandkids)I like to experiment with different engine combinations.I've got four engines on stands in the garage, and all of them where in and out my old Mustang mule last year. The last engine and the current one was built by two of my grandsons,a 346 HP 302 and 508 HP stroked 351 both normally asperated.(carbs)
