Joe, from the back of the valve cover gasket to the firewall is 3.5 inches. Now if the booster is thicker at the center, where the master cylinder mounts, that would be OK. Just where any part of it might have to go behind the valve cover, it can't be more than 3.5 inches.

I also took a rough measurement from the approximate new center line mounting location of the billet master cylinder to the inside of my driver's side cage down tube as being approximatly 5 inches so the booster would have to be of a diameter less that 10 inches across. 8 or 9 would be much better.
    Thanks :Handshake

How does the thickness look on the Vette booster?

Bob...I'm not quite sure what you mean by thickness, but I will try to get more information about the dimensions and how many variations are available .Off hand I believe the 7"diameter I've seen used is about 7/10"long or thick.I'll get back to you on this when I have more info.Joe

Joe, I mean will it fit between my valve cover and firewall? In other words, if you laid it flt on a table and measured it's height would it be thicker than 3.5 inches?

The 7 inch diameter is good for my application. It should fit between my cover and roll cage bar with no problem. :)
