That is an awsome find. I own the black Stabber in this thread. By all means have those decals carefully reproduced. They are important. These decals were black. My car is black hence their absence. I am the second owner of mine and can help you with some details. The original owner is a cousin.I stay in contact with him. Again congratulations.
I have a friend that can reproduce anything in vinyl. I was going to get some grabber decals made, give me a shout if you want me to ask about reproducing the Stabber ones as well.
He still has the car..... From talking with his brother he put a maverick hood on it and is parked by his shed under a tarp. Not sure if it runs or not.
sad to hear that the car is just sitting on dirt and continuing to degrade like that. Someone around here should be trying to "talk" him out of that dirty little gem. In the right persons hands.. that's a possible muesum piece.
Boy, I'd love to see this car! I wonder what part of Georgia he is in? Anyone know? Maybe I can talk to him and see if he wants to get rid of it. Then, I'd have a Bear Cat and a Stabber! That'd be cool! lol
There was quite a few made but this was a dealer optioned package by Pugmire Lincoln Mercury in Atlanta. Therefore it can't be verified by vin as a Stabber nor by a Marti report. Someone would have to have a Pugmire invoice to show it is a true Stabber as I do have a copy of one but car was totaled years ago.
