bought a 1974 Maverick parts car, will the fenders fit a 1971? I bought it for the five lug rear and front disks, but my wife's71 has some rust behind the passenger fender. The parts car is a very straight 1974 four door with no rust anywhere except the battery tray.

with a similar situation, would a pair of fenders from a 71 fit a 74? I am also thinking about switching out the bumper too. So maybe putting on 71 fenders would help me in fitting the smaller bumper I have a 1974 maverick. Thanks in advance for your input!

If you buy small bumpers/brackets, valence, stone guard, early notched fenders will just be a direct bolt on for your 74 and everything will match up and look correct :yup:

By brackets, you mean for the bumper right? The fenders would just bolt on? And.... All this is the front end, if I change the bumper in front I would have to alter the rear quarters to fit the rear bumper!

Might be better to find 74 fenders and leave the bumpers!
