New Evaporator for A/C

    Does ur car have the factory heater box? The evaporator fits in that box along w/ the heater core. If not, u will have to get one or go to an underdash unit. This is what the factory looks like.

    You'd have better luck looking on rockauto.com, and not digging up old threads.

    Good point, but I don't see them on Rockauto. Did we ever find a source for new factory evaporators? I searched but found nothing... other than an old Ready Aire number that does not come up.

    I think most are sending originals out to be tested / repaired.

    I think I paid CAA about $90 to clean and test mine.
