I'm going from my 200, 3 spd automatic to a 302 (from 87-93 mustang) using the same transmission.. What bell housing will work? And what cars will have this bell housing (junkyard picking) ;).. Thank you all for all the help you have given me in my first 2 years of owning a maverick!

    thanks

ok so let me get this straight. my current 71 C4 will match up to a 93 302 as long as i have a Bellhousing/converter/flexplate from an 87-93 302? just to clarify. Im completely useless when it comes to transmissions

harmonic balancer/flexplate balance matches motor...bellhousing/flexplate size matches motor...converter matches flexplate/transmission... :yup:

case fill C-4 for 302 would put you way ahead...
