Taurus fan swap junkyard parts

I did some research and found that late 90's Contours came from the factory with a 40 amp relay for the low speed fan and a 70 amp relay for the high speed fan.

Also, BMW used two dual temp switches that would work. They have two to chose from depending what temp you want to work:
80 / 88* C (176/190*F) dual temp switch Part # 61318361787
91 / 99* C (195/210*F) dual temp switch Part # 61311378073

No need to track down aftermarket parts.

 

the...dual temp switches...make sure they turn the low side off when turning the high side on...when used with relays on a Taurus fan swap

you will also need the pigtail that goes with the sender...the senders will be...metric threads... M12X1,5

 

I Googled this sensor but can't find out how it works...I will keep trying...

 

if they are both on at same time...it will be great for a... Taurus fan swap...with a Volvo relay...:Handshake

 

I found this article where the guy runs a Lincoln fan, BMW switch, and Volvo relay with no problem.
