Alright guys, those of you with the 73/74 factory grabber buckets. What foam / upholstery did you use? I know that these seats differ some from the 71/72 grabber /upholstery comet gt buckets. Does Fred (fmc56) custom make the foam for the 73/74 grabber buckets? Or is there an aftermarket one that will work. Looking at the nod catalog, it looks like 1970 mustang seat looks more like the 73/74 grabber buckets, vs the 71-73 mustang seats? Relevant Information on this is needed and appreciated. Thanks

There is no aftermarket foam, since it's molded right to the seat frame. You'll have to reuse the foam.

The foam is to far gone to be kept. Another solution is needed.

Then, you'll have to leave whats there, and rebuild it. I've stripped a seat, and there just isn't enough left to just use Mustang foam, the foam holds it all together, unlike the Mustang seat frames.
