My question is that would a 72 front bench seat and a 70 rear seat fit in my 76 Maverick?

The rear seat will not fit. The front seat will fit.

You would most likely not be able to put the 70 rear seats in. I am not so sure about the front seats. It would entirely depend on whether or not the car came with a bench seat or not, and if the seat you are trying to put in has any special attachments. As long as the seat came from a Maverick (not a Comet or Pinto)

Would a 72 rear seat fit?

It would if the 1972 had seat belts mounted behind the side kick panels.
