Hey what's happenin fellas. Got a ? On wheels and i searched with no avail. . i need some different rims on my stock 75 5 lug maverick. The car came with staggered draglites , 3 1/2 IN in the front lol. everyday driver and with winter comin up id like some regular rims/tires all around for the crappy NY weather. i plan on hitting up the pick and pull so what rims from other vehicles would bolt on to the old broad? thanks
I'm running the old Mopar cop car wheels (15 x 7 or 8) on the front of mine and they work great the back space is around 3.5 to 4" about the same as 15" Ranger wheels.
The cop wheels do look nice on our, cars. i may be selling the draglites on her soon. there 15 x 3 or 3 1/2 WELD brand on front. And 15 x 8 on rear. different brand but they match. could be jegs brand. id even consider a trade. tires and all. thanks guys. this site has been a savior to me since i got my mav in august. I've only had to ask one ? Prior due to tge wealth of great info from the boards!!!
I already have 15 inch draglites on it. lookin for something from the junkyard that will bolt on with out problems for winter. Budget buy for an everyday drive. Don't want these dragster tires on a street car. lol
I always thought those were 14s on your car. The 15's I had (Ranger), were at least a 5" backspace. There was no no way I could use them on my car without mods.
if you want something cheap go to stocks with hub caps. I like the look of CLEAN hubcaps on our cars stock tires gotta be around $150 a set of 4 brand new huh? and Im sure someone there has a set of stock steel wheels they want to give away? I paid $200 for a set of 4 15's here that were low profiles installed and balanced I know we live across country from each other but the junkyard has got to be cheaper or around the same price with wheels. also dont forget craigslist you can find some really good deals. thats where I bought all four of my comets and check with tow yards in your area some times they have tires and wheels that are extra
Nope, 15s. No spacers, stock suspension front and rear. I only ran a 215 tire on them. I don't know what b/s they are, I could measure the next time I am at the shop. I do remember that they were indeed very close to the leaf springs, which jives with the increased b/s you are mentioning.
