    Welcome from nepa

welcome to the site bud i love that car ya got there. i also like the 67-68 mercury cougar taillights in the whip ya got. im a 26 year old dude thats been sporting comet/maverick power for just abought 5 years now. i like you car it is sweet . its neat with the cougar taillights cuz i used to own 3 68' cougars that i built and sold and eventually stumbled on this car that i own, which is my baby a 1971 Mercury Comet GT with roughly 500hp. being a mustang fanatic i cant believe how much i would rather have one of these cars, just for the fact of how rare it is to find Mercury Comet GTS and sweet Mavericks . the maverick was fords big million dollar gamble that paid off for them. the 1970 maverick actually sold so many cars even more that mustangs. well welcome and take in as much as you can from this site , because every1 here is nuts for these cars. we all help eachother out.

    quick questions jayson

since you have mercury cougar taillights in your maverick does it have the actuall sequential turn light relay wired into you taillights if not i have one since i used to own 3 68 cougars. cuz if it has the sequential turn signals working on your taillights that must look sweet as all hell, also sorry for spelling your name wrong . my name is evrin and you would not even imagine all the things ive been called in my life

My tail lights are sequential but there are ways to make them sequential that are way better than the old motorized units. Mine are actually built into a circuit board but there is a company called webelectric that sells two very small electronic tubes that you simply wire in and works awesome! Very inexpensive too.

Thanks for the comments. To answer the question. No. They dont do what your saying. I know that cougers did, but the guy who put these in just hooked them up with just brake/tail like stock lights were wired.
Meeting up tomorrow with another maverick owner and let him look it over.
Also had a mini car meet at car wash,"completly unorganized"
I stopped in to wash my mav. and a guy in a 69SS camero pulls in to look at my car as it dries. Then a guy in a 78SS camero pulls in to look at his and my car,.
After that people just started rolling in to look.
Found out a guy in my town has a 72 mav. with like 600HP!
I have not seen it, but want to.

^Funny thing is... Just went to mount them. and wouldnt you know my luck,...
    THEY ARE 5X4.75!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well at least I got a set of new tires for $200 and sell the rims for some that will fit my car.

EDIT! I found some Adapters that will make them work! $129 shipped!
They are 1inch thick so they wont mess up the stance.
