just traded a ricer (integra) for this 77 comet and couldn't be happier.
its got all matching # 302 with a c4 tranny all just rebuilt and 168k on the rest of the car.
i want to get new rims wider on the back manly any one that could help me with a size that would fit would be helping me out a lot, i want 15x8 or 10 not sure tho and where could i get some shackles to raise the back?

Congrats on the new Comet...Air shocks will raise the rear and looks better than shackles.....

Nice Comet - you could add a leaf spring to each side to give the rear some extra height :)

Welcome to the board. Do a search on the shackles on here. They seem to be a week spot and eventually go through the trunk floor. Better the air bags or new springs if needed. :Welcome:

Welcome from the great NW. I like the magnum 500 wheels. Nice looking car. I just restored a set of those wheels but I need a set of the center caps. :drive:

    :Welcome:from the sticker patch.
Stay away from air shocks!!! i have a very ugly hole in the trunk area from the previous owners attempt to use those. best bet is new springs. someone in KS. is making them.

:Welcome:to the board.... Stay away from the shackles & air shocks. I had my leaf springs rearched & added a 4th leaf. Best thing I ever did...
