    Your Comet looks great.

From your description, you could run the bullits without a spacer in the rear. I'd like to push the envelope a bit and not run spacers in the rear with a 9.5 and a 275.

I've seen 69 stangs with 6.25 bs on 10s with 295s that only required a bit of massaging with a hammer to the inner fenderwells.

You may be able to tell us if we can run 6.0 BS or even more.

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
uh.. jeremy you might wanna consider the size tire profile as well? remember my grip about size tires before you left the other day.. lol!

i guess never under stood the point of the wide wheel with a skinny tire you could fit on a smaller width wheel that would fit correctly. (y)

The front upper ball joint is a point of concern with 16" wheels. The 94-04 Mustangs 16" wheels require an additional spacing of 7/8" PLUS to clear. The 17's are just the extra "n th" in diameter to aid in clearing the upper ball joint. As stated before, it requires 7/8" spacing to clear the 17's :yup:

1971cometgt - That is a very nice looking wheel/tire package. Good way to modernize the look and improve handling of the car and still retain a Vintage appearance. What size /brand are your tires all around ? Who was the manufacturer of the spacer kit. I gotta do that to mine. Thanks for sharing .

I have Goodyear gatorbacks, 245/45-17. The spacers are from Summit racing- CalCustom or Mr. Gasket 7/16". TWO per wheel, rendering 7/8" spacing, with ARP 3" wheel studs. I have no interference with this rig.
