Unfortunatley, the only way I can get window unit a/c to my garage is to allow it to be seen from the street. The Home Owners Association of the slum I live in won't let me have a window unit A/C in view from the street. I thought about addding a duct from my central a/c to the garage ceiling but figured I'd have to have the a/c running all the time in order time for it to be effective. Oil Well. It's hell being poor!
Are you running a alternator? I did not see any charging terminals going to the outside of the car. If so, are you running a stock one or one of them fancy "1 wire" jobs?
Wow, excellent work, Rick! Can't wait to see it when it's done! -Corbin P.S. I'm working on those powerball numbers for next week...
Thanks! The entire project rests on your ability to come through with the winning digits for me - and please, try to give me the numbers PRIOR TO instead of JUST AFTER the drawing this time??? Thanks in advance, Rick
'Didn't take much. A few self-tapping screws, a hole saw and she's done. Remember: Measure once, cut twice! (Is that right? )
What you don't see is the pilot hole my buddy drilled - in the wron location! ARGHH!! I have to put a "PUSH OFF" sticker over it anyway (NHRA & IHRA requirement). Some people actually have there's operate the opposite way (not really 'legal' per se, but they get away with it). There sticker reads "JERK OFF" - I just couldn't bring myself to do it (the resistance was near overwhelming) A grommet will be added later on.
I had to make an executive decision. The radiator that came with the car is too small for the 347 and I didn't want to later regret not going with the bigger radiator. So, I'm modifying the radiator support to accept the (much) larger one. My neighbor gearheads know I use a sawz-all to trim my toe-nails and cut out "2 fer" coupons, so the adrenalin was pumping when I began my 'modifying'.
