Yes, but not with the 235/75/15's. The tires are too big for the front end of a Mav. I put my old set of Bronco II rims (same rims exactly) on my Mav when I first got it because the tires would keep going flat. As long as I didn't have to turn the car they fit:16suspect You looking for rims & tires? I'm going to be selling two different sets of 14" rims & tires as soon as I get the the 17" rims I bought for my 66 Mustang.

i wasnt activily looking but the guy only wanted 150 for that set which seemed like a good deal

the cougar rims i had wouldnt fit over the grease cap up front for the disc brakes, i'd imagine the same would be true with stang rims also?

the biggest issue is the backspacing.

Look at the pics of the wheels on my car. I was told when I bought it that they came off of a Mazda truck, same as a Ranger. Mine are aftermarket {I think] and fit fine. Those tires may be too tall, but you can always get shorter ones. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I put 2001 Ranger rims on my brother's '72 Grabber. They fit fine, though the 235 tires are extremely close to rubbing the fender lip up front. But they don't rub.

I've got 225/70's on mine, and since I cut off one coil, they rub the splash guard when you turn...

well the guy pulled the ad and i never got a reply so i guess i wont be getting these.

im going to keep my eye out for ranger explorer rims tho. im always afraid any rim isnt going to fit over the wheel bearings up front (disc brakes) tho like those cougar rims lol

If that Cougar had disc brakes also, your best bet probably would have been to swap the whole spindles over. Though that seems like a lot of work just get some wheels to fit.

You want those same rims? My brother has a set off his Bronco II lying in his basement. They're the exact same rim and tire, I'm sure I could get him to sell them to you. They've been down there for three years since he bought bigger rims and 31" tires. Let me know.
