    Trying to come up with something different was tough. I searched for days before coming up with this design. It is a little more intricate with the gauge mounting but I hope it will look good. If it doesn't turn out I will go back to the flat panel design.

    did you consider where the steering wheel blocks vision on the gauge locations? Mashori had done some thing similar to your lay out and the steering wheel blocked being able to see then top half numbers on the speedo and tack. his second revision had them located lower to fix that problem.

    Good point - better to realize it now before all of the holes are cut out and then you have to start over with a new piece :thumbs2:

    I've only had mine for 6 months or so..... :rolleyes: I had the tach conversion done on my stock cluster and I thought those gauges were a really good match.....

    I was giving you a hard time. The gauges look nice and seem to fit the style of the era of car. My basement is full of stuff that is 3 plus years old because of the length of time it has taken to paint it.

    I know you were, I was just showing you what I was doing..... Trust me I know about parts being everywhere with my project change and all..... I have stuff in 3 rooms at the condo plus what's at my shop.....

    They sell a bundle of 5 gauges but that is the only thing I could find. That is what I bought and the additional large gauge. Hunt around the part number and you can find them cheaper than summit and jegs.

    No it is a eggshell black. Not quit flat black but not semi gloss, right in the middle.

    Can't wait to see it when you have it unwrapped..........the difference in contrast between the strips and back panel should look really good...IMHO

    when do you plan on giving it to your dad? Particular date? Does he even know you have this car? How have you kept it a secret without him knowing?
