BTW AJE has a setup now that allows to convert the front to SN95 style mc pherson front end and you can use stock spindles, brakes, rack and pinion, but you need coilover suspension. The modified shock towers apparently make room for the modular 4.6 32v In the rear there is some fabrication needed but you can install stock s/n 95 mustang rear 4 link suspension and the 8.8" rear end with stock style coil springs. I could probably swap most of mu bullit parts this way. May save quite a bit and have an easy access to replacement parts down the road. That is important as well.
I really like the low profile treatment done to that hood -- really tastefully executed. Never been a fan of the real tall hoods for a street driven car. What mod's were done to the towers? Much of the work done in home garage.
The towers were moved 2 1/2” a side and I removed it from the fender side so they would keep there original contour. The hood was done by a friend of mine that did an amazing job grafting the scoop in . I own an auto repair shop so the majority of the work was performed there with access to lifts and equipment .
3 years, oh no, you're not done. Just the first chapter. Now you get to get all the bugs out of it. As you drive and play with it, you'll make little changes here and there. The never ending project.
Really like this car. It's all there, the stance, paint , powerplant.....etc. I'm not much of a 4.6 litre fan but can respect the amount of work it took to make all of that happen. One bad a$$ ride man.
