    1972 Maverick 351w swap, 1965 Mustang 355 glide, 1993 civic daily driver
    We have a 1973 Gran torino 4 dr 302 automatic. We are going to pull the motor and transmission out to put in the 1974 Maverick. Is there anything else I should pull off before it gets scrapped

    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    the brake wheel cylinder links are interchangable...i lost one in my mav and i took if of a grand torino....but you'll only need them if you lose parts like me:D

    Keep the rear end. Torinos came with both 8" and 9" rears, the 8" chunk will work in a Mav 8 ", and both can be narrowed to fit a Mav if needed......

    does it have a factory floorshifter in it? the exterior door handles and mirrior might be the same too
