1973 Mav windshield clips - need quick accurate answer

After you get the glass out - while you are removing the old gasket from the pinch weld - you will find 4 of them mounted to the top of the cowl area buried in the black gooey sealing compound. There purpose is to support the weight of the glass so the windshield does not sag and cause the gasket to leak. While most cars have 4, don't be surprised if there are only 2 of them. Some cars came off the line that way.
