Headman and Hooker, as well as others, only list to 1974 for 302 headers. Will the 74 work on the 75? Thanks.
They do that because cat-converters came on our cars starting in 75. It's an emissions thing. Cats actually started mid-75... fwiw. The header companies just didn't want the EPA up in arms back when the headers were first listed. Things are more lax now, but they never bothered to change the listings.
Btw: Just to answer your question directly... They work. I got my 75 in 91, since then it has used a few different headers from mild to wild, and they work fine.
ive seen headers for v8s i wanna get headers but im stuck in a rut cause i have a v6 straight 6 of course any ideas where i can get that?
classicinlines.com sells good headers for straight 6s. a v6 is something totally diffrent, mavericks never had those
