Wouldn't the brakes from the LTD II work as a disc brake swap? Is that not the Fox body LTD? I am probably totally wrong but just asking. Never mind. I remember those cars now. My sister in law had a cream puff of one up until she sold it about 1993. I thought it was the small LTD.

I think the 78 LTD II is the big body like the T-Bird, Cougar and Lincoln. Wasn't till 79 they went to Fox bodies, same as the mustangs. T-birds and Cougars changed in 80.

My x has a 79 LTD II and it is a big car. I don't think the brakes or any other part would fit. Currently looking for driver side door hinges for it. Those doors are huge lol.

Those T-Birds were frequently good for 14x7 Magnum wheels, and the ones that had the wheels with the weird rubber centers embossed on them had some really cool extra-long lug nuts. Those look great used with Magnums. The lug nuts are probably almost 2" long.

Other than that, maybe the dome light with the two spots in it and maybe armrest pads (not sure on that). Very little else that would be useful that I can think of.

Motor-wise .... these were mostly 351M and 400M motors .... useless for us.

Yeah, I did a search in the middle of my post and saw the car and realized which car it was. My sister in alw used to have a cream puff of one with a 302 in it so some did come with 302's so that and the auto trannies would swap. All kinds of stuff under the hood would probably swap like alternators, ignition parts, solenoids etc. Not worth buying a donor car for that unless it has a great low mileage engine at a low price though
