Hi, I was wondering what Dual Exhaust system to get? I've seen a few universal ones that I could get, but are there any that I could get where I wouldn't have to do much work to change it? I'll be hooking them up to Short Headman 88400 Headers.

Find a good reputable muffler shop and have them build one for you.

Type "Dual exhaust" in the search section for some good info. You'll find the biggest issue is making the bend up and over the driver's side of the axle and then running the exhaust pipe next to the gas tank. Unfortunately, the gas tank is offset to the driver's side which makes an exhaust pipe a tight fit. Having said that, there are different types of solutions and dual setups are common but always a custom fit. An experienced exhaust tech is key.

    Hi Jug:
NOW would be a good time to consider a X-Pipe Crossover Pipe Kit . SUMMIT Racing has two online that are priced reasonably . SUM-642125 @ $89.97 or SUM 642130 @ 109.97 . They will provide exhaust pipes to the MUFFLER .. then it's up to you again for that choice. A good muffler shop should be able to form your exhaust easily with all the components already on hand .. Just ' Joining ' the pieces . Just my opinion. I've run X-Pipes on Six Cars now and they ALL perform well. ( We made our own X-Pipe by using mandrel bends and our welders.. But the KITS are a good alternative ) .

Thanks, that sounds like a good set, which mufflers would you recommend for it? I don't want to be obnoxiously loud, just a solid American Grunt.
