I used to be a nitrous junkie until I saw the light...now, instead of having to refill bottles twice a week, I refill once a month (with smaller jetting) Yeah...its kinda nice to not have to refill all the time - the turbo does most of the work (and only gets an inhaler shot on occasion, aka "bust azz mode")
So 88, what size tires are you running on the back? Might try going up a bit to get you out of the rev limiter at the big end. Might get a bit of mph too.
they are 14 inch wheels so i could only find one size they are 26 by 9 and 1/2 but they are only 8 inches wide really
Yes they have done very well but not quite the quikest.... Mustang yes Don Nasse in his ranger ran 7.90's years ago Fred House has been in the single digits with a 2.3 for like ever 8.30's rowing gears. I know him very well and have learned quit a bit about the 2.3's from him. He has a small machine shop and specailizes in them in Pa. A 2.3 build was my plan years ago for a maverick, but like allways I got side tracked. Someday...
it doesn't matter why. it matters that he did it. that's the only 4 cyl turbo maverick i've ever seen. and i'm sure it'd stomp most of the 302's. you did an amazing job on that car. looks perfect. sounds good, looks good. just an amazing thing to see.
Well you have convinced me that this is the way I want to go when I get ready to swap the old 2.0 out of the Pinto. This would be just way too much fun in the little Pinto.
