2 questions headers, and stroker kit

    I just looked to stroke my 302 to a 331 it'll cost roughly 1200$ and I looked at summit racing for some new headers and it was 900 something. Before I go out an spend the money for the stroker kit does anyone know of any legit websites you used? And what's the best website for new headers but that don't cost almost the same as stroking my engine. Thanks guys!:thumbs2:

    You need to look harder for headers ;). What kind are you looking for?

    I got my Hooker 6901s for like 180 on Summit.. This was like 6 years ago though

    I think most of the guys running Hooker's are using 6901's...that'd be a good place to start anyway. Personally, I've got the Hedman's on mine, and they've suited my needs.

    Long tube hooker 6901s' should cost between 150 and 425 (coated) 900.00 is more like the cost of custom made ones...Look harder you'll find em.

    Not likely, I've done two of them now.
    You can buy 302 headers for less than $200, or pay $1000. IIRC my Jet-Hot coated 6901s were around $400.
