As stated: If you have a specific question or suggestion, this forum is not for that purpose. All club officers and state reps can be contacted directly through their contact information published in the MCCI newsletter Shorthorns

I'm just curious to know what "CLUB CHAT" is exactly? I mean if you cant ask questions about the club or make suggestions about the club t or talk about the club (hence the word CHAT) Then what exactly is the point of having this forum at all???? Just a simple question from a lowly simple person Not someone of any importance like the 3 wise men of the mcci  . Someone please explain before this thread gets locked too.

    Welcome, Mavericklover!

    Welcome to the board! :Welcome:
It looks like you joined us here at Stefan T.'s board back in April, but only have 3 posts.

If you are interested in MCCI events, membership etc. try: www.maverickcometclub.org

There are great pics of cars, Mini-Meets and Roundups like the previous 2 years held in Owensboro, KY. The pics get better every year, so don't skip any!
There is also some great info and links to VIN decoding for these cars.
You can also contact MCCI State Reps from that site to find out if there is a Mini-Meet or other show happening in your area.

    I'm Seth in N. Carolina.

Not sure who the 3 wise men of the MCCI are??? Maybe you met them at the MCCI Roundup Nationals or at drag nite.

Great yellow car by the way.

Question was asked.....Question was answered.....end of story.

That is not the issue. I think you did a GREAT job of answering the question :) ....does that mean from now on whenever a post has the question answered....it will then be locked?
Again, not $hitkicking or anything :D
But I am still a paid member of the MCCI and I have made the annoucement that I will be at the Round-up in VA. which means you will have to deal with me for another year :p so I still deserve to be treated as a member.

    God bless everyone :162:

    I Was Wrong

    and I want to apologize.
    I reread Shawn's post.
See I thought it said any ideas or suggestions...e-mail the officers, but it actually says:

If you have a specific question or suggestion, this forum is not for that purpose. All club officers and state reps can be contacted directly through their contact information published in the MCCI newsletter ?Shorthorns?, or by looking them up directly on the MCCI website at: www.maverickcometclub.org

So I made the mistake and thought a member could only not make suggestions or ideas in a public forum....I did not realize that a member cannot ask "specific questions" in a public forum as well. So I apologize for my wrongful action.
Thanks for all the hard work the MCCI officers and Nick are doing to put on a great Round-up....VA 2007 is going to be a blast and I for one am looking forward to it.
Again, I am sorry and thanks!
    John.
