An interesting proposal. How about sweetening the pot?

For instance...I'll attend this event, if we agree to pull off some t&t at Pacific this year.

    Kick it around.

    Sounds like "Blackmail" to me...:rofl2:
It sounds like Matt is in, for a few runs down the 1/4 mile. I guess I can give it a go also. Lets do it after the Mini meet. I want to be able to take the Comet, I've already registered. If I break something & can't go to the mini meet, I'd be mad as hell. If I break at the track, will you tow me home? I only live 15 minutes away... Besides, maybe a few more Mavericks/Comets will be interested also. We could call it a mini meet at the drags...

oh i never thought about breaking down... if i do the T&T im not gonna put that old 302 the limits lol... now if we went to the 1/8 mile here in monroe i'd be closer to home. Plus theres a white Maverick and a black one that are usually there. i havent seen the black one yet but my neighbor said its pretty fast (y)

    Ok, that's Mat and Coop.
What's with the crack about towing? I'm the one with the weaker tranny being abused with "the sauce."
    ;)

No prob about doing it after the Meet (I'm still waiting on the snell rated helmet on back-order).

I will take you guys up on the offer next year after the stroker motor gets in.
The amount of cars that break at the track is not that great in cars of our caliber, just think of it as taking off at the on ramps with lights.

I like to think of it as more like an "opportunity for negotiation."
    (y)

I'm already locked in? Thanks for letting me know. I guess I'll have to put in the bigger sauce jets. We'll see how long the cast pistons will survive with 150hp shot.
    :bananaman

PS: should I go with Allstate or AAA motor club?

Cool. Is Jimbo from work going to attend? As you know, he terrorized with the Camaro for many years, but then redeemed himself with the 88' Mustang.
I imagine he told you some of the wild stories.
    ;)
