    I have a few different time frames that I can work out to come up with the little ones. Thursday evening, Saturday morning to midday, or Sunday anytime. Which would you guys recommend?

    Thursday evening we will probably be out in the parking lot talking, shooting the breeze, and working on each other's cars (as usual). Saturday is show day and the BEST day to come...close to 50 Mavericks and Comets will be there, if not more. Sunday everybody is leaving or has already left...so not much going on.

    Last year, all I could bring with me was my photo albums of my my Comet's 20 year history with me and my current rebuild progress ... set them up curbside in the grass with an unbrella and some chairs, and that was my "show spot". ;)

    My wife has family two hours away in Ohio, and when I heard Detroit ... had to get there. Spent three days and I had a GREAT time with everyone.

    My Comet still is not yet a runner, but an awful lot closer now.

    Wishin' I could be there again with you guys this year, ... but just not meant to be ... I will be following all this.

    BTW ...
    I have videos posted of all the cars there on Saturday from last year ... if these don't get you pumped up, nothing will ....

    we're getting close everyone getting very excited !!if you've never been to a round up before you need to make this your first and I promise you you will not regret it and you will be hooked!

    just a reminder for those who are going to attend thursday's test track make sure you bring a pair of pants because we will not be allowed on the track without long pants

    Looks like I won't be able to attend this year. I had real hopes of coming. As luck wud have it; it appears I will need surgery on my knee and walkin around on a stick/crutch does not appeal to me. Im sure those who attend will enjoy themselves... I am vry dissapointed. I just looked at my calender and was suprised it's only 7 days away. Well I am one of those who am hooked on the RU and hope to attend both the RU and Gathering at some point in the future when they come within the range" distance wise/miles" I feel comfortable driving.

    MAN! Im not at that stage yet. Im holding out hope and not canceling my reservations until late nx week. I have to see my ortho specialist tommorrow and see what procedure he suggest. Anyway, I still have hope.
