302/c4 block plate??

    Does anyone know what block plate I need for my 302 with c4?? I couldn't find anything on here unless I missed it. thanks

    You will need one that is for either a 157 tooth flexplate or a 164 tooth flexplate, if you know you have the correct flexplate count the teeth on it. I would be willing to bet you need the 157 tooth

    Summitracing sells one that works for both although I have never seen one and can not vouch for fitment. Main difference is the location of hole for starter

    thanks guys, I got the fly wheel from the guy who built my tranny, and its the 164 tooth, block plate is now here.

    You need a flexplate. Not a flywheel Flywheels are for manual transmissions. Flexplates are for automatics. Might save you someday when asking for either to know which is which.
