I am replacing my 6 CYL with a 302 V8 in my 71 Maverick. In am looking for the Chasis motor mounts off a Maverick that had a 302 in it.

Is there a chasis mount from another ford vehicle that would work?

Any direction on where to find the right part or what other options I have would be great.

You can find the frame mounts for sale from time to time and Autokrafters and others sell repops but they're expensive. When I converted my car 36 years ago I used taller 66 Mustang motor mounts bolted directly to the frame horns with 3/4" spacers between them and the block. Been running it like that all these years.

Thanks for the feedback. Two good options.

I bought a pair of frame mounts at carkrafters. they fit perfectly. They also cost $150.00. then I got the isolaters at autozone for $25.00 for the pair. autokrafters wanted $25.00 a piece.

Autoworks Racing has a set of adjustable motor mounts that allow for adjustment for and aft as well as side to side to help with annoying problems like oil pan interference, header fitment issues, etc.

    http://www.autoworksparts.com/motor_mount.htm

The frame plates were designed so that they would mount to either the Mustang bolt hole locations or the Maverick locations. I have a set on one of my cars that we used to design them.

Asking price is $250. Same as for the Mustang motor mounts of a similar design.
