302 to 250 swap

    i got another 73 2 door comet this weekend and the motor is messed up.. its a 302... now i got another car 76 4 door comet body is rusted like hell but the motor is perfect and its a straight 6 250 .. is there anything i would run into that's different or is it going to be a easy swap...

    yeah that one is an easy swap. the 302 and the 250 share the same bell housing. just remember you need the 6 cylinder motor mounts off of the parts car.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.
    You will need a bunch of parts....motor mounts, frame mounts, gas cable, etc. Luckily.....you will have all the parts you need.
