Who makes headers for 351w in Maverick. Rod and Custom complete front end with no shock towers to deal with. Engine needs 1 5/8 primary pipe or better to breath. Engine makes 550 on the dyno.

I used Hedman 88390 on mine, and they cleared the RC107 kit fine. I have an aftermarket Man O War block, but it's just the 302. Looking at the fitment of the headers...I don't see anything that would hit with the wider 351 block. I wasn't sure myself on the fitment when I ordered them, so I just got the uncoated ones. I'm going to be switching to a set of 1 3/4" coated soon. Depending on your oil pan, bellhousing, etc...you could have different results, but I wouldn't be afraid to try them.

    Maxx,

Thanks for the info. Building a 408 and would like to know what brand 1 3/4 tube headers your thinking about. I know of one guy that made Hooker 6208 work but it took alittle work to do so.
