hi i am going to be putting a 351w into my 72 maverick grabber i was told it would bolt right in except the deck height is taller than the 302, i was wondering if there is any headers that would bolt right in without modification?

yep. go to the archives and put in 351w headers or 351w swap and do a search. off hand i know tubular has some. i have a set at home but i don't know what brand they are so there are some out there. put a good set of plugs in cause your not going to be changing them often. it's tight unless you do some mods to the shock towers.:)

From the factory it came with an 8 inch and 28 splines. If it has a 9 inch under it someone put it under there.

yup 8 inch is in your 75 if its stock....28 spline...im also a member of the windsor club;) good luck with your install...have you shaved your shock towers? if not id recommend it , spark plugs WILL be a nightmare...far as headers ive herd of tubluar fitting pretty well however im not sure if any mods are needed to be done...far as i know there is no header that fits our windsor cars...i have hooker 6208s which are big tube 1 3/4...compared to tubluars 1 1/2 but if its a stock to mild 351w and your not racing or turning high rpms ... 1 1/2 will work fine...my car will be a mostly a drag car and i have alot of head work done so i felt it would help out....but good luck keep us posted if you have any questions email me or PM me:tiphat: have a nice day
