4.6 4v DOHC find

    Cast crank, pistons

    the heads and cams are not suited to a mavericks weight to be honest.
    Cams are torque builders down low yet the heads be ports are mismatched as they flow huge numbers on the top end but lack somewhat compared to the later tumbleport heads. it would still work and these engines can be built on the cheap with a proper plan. I would say on this sight I have the most knowledge on this subject as I have studied this for quite some time and helped swap 2 4.6l this past year.

    In all honesty you could a build a nice 350 hp 4.6l sohc carbed combo for a decent budget these days.....and easier fitment/not much but a lil

    If I was not building a road race car I would have went this route to keep cost down. my 4.6l dohc should dyno 450 to 500hp but with a a hefty price tag. The high rpm range is what I was after though.

    Do what makes you happy though that is the most important part

    a friend of mines runs high 8's with a turbo set up and can drive it any where!!! it rocks:bowdown:

    all that with 281 cubic inches!!! bitchin
