Looks to me like the car is coated in dirt. Will be intresting to see what's left when they clean it up. I'm sure what ever paint is left is permanently stained. The interior is probably full of mud. I guess the good news is the car didn't break apart when they lifted it up...

 

Even with it being a total rust bucket, I bet it would sell well

 

Just what this world needs, another rusty ole Mopar.. and that is exactly what the Okies cant have. So my prediction is that Boyd Coddington will do a resto on it before it is presented to the winner. It will be on American Hot Rod and we will listen to Duanne be stupid and the paint guys will be behind and blah blah blah...........

You garnered my thoughts.

 

It's been my experience that metal starts to rust pretty quickly when submerged in any kind of water. I have left parts under water in the parts washer at work while gone to lunch break for just an hour and came back to find them rusting under the water. Even if they ripped that bag open, it's apparent that muddy water has been on the car, and likely inside it. I'm not betting on that paint being in good condition. The chrome maybe. It will be intresting to see.

 

I'm guessing after doing the resto they'll put it up on Barret jackson.
