Not good at all, looks like the car would have aged better under an Oak tree in a field. Guessing it will be on a episode of American Hot Rod.

From what I can tell, the car is restorable.

 

Duane hasn't growled, yet. When he does, that car turns to dust.

 

Well ... I doubt the winner would be able to afford to restore it .. but perhaps if the car was turned over to the city they would (and should) pay to have it restored ... that would be a good use of tax payer money.

They need to get the fire department in there and hose the sucker off!

Chrome is good ... but did the bumper itself rust out from under it?

 

I dunno. I think it should be cleaned as carefully and as best it can be and left alone. In this case, the story is more valuable than the car.
