They ought to bury (with great care) a top of the line Viper coupe.

The next time they bury a car, can we put some of the politicians in it?

Surprisingly it didn't stink at all. I wasn't there when vault was opened for the first time - I image that it smelled pretty bad. But this car was beyond the stink, unless you count the smell of rust.

As far as I know, they're not planning on cleaning it up or doing anything with it - it's too far gone. I think it'll make a museum piece of some sort.

I think he was referring to it having politicians in it.. then it'd stink

As far was cleaning it up... what about the person that won the raffle?

I was wondering the same thing. Was the person that guessed the closest to the 2007 population of Tulsa back in 1957 even still alive? Or was it given to their heirs?

Stepside, I think the fat lady in charge of the ceremony told everybody in Tulsa to shut the hell up about the entire event - "Act like it didn't happen, folks! Deny! Deny! Deny!"

I saw on the tulsarama website a few items on display, but nothing to get excited over. Pfffft.

It appears the entire world witnessed Tulsa's "premature ejubilation".

Yeah, I kind of figgured they wern't too proud of it after it was uncovered. i didn't get to see any of the coverage on tv and with dial up, it ain't happening on the 'puter either. Maybe they learned their lesson on burying metal objects....would have been better to enclosed it in an above ground vault.....and water sealed it!

If they weren't alive, it was supposed to be given to their heirs. I think if I won that car, I would have to tell them they can just keep it.
