Does anyone know if a clutch/brake pedal will work in a '74 maverick? I bought a pedal assembly off ebay a year ago and now that I'm getting ready to install a T5, I found out that what was advertised as a maverick/comet pedal assembly turned out to be a '67-'68 mustang pedal assembly through some recent research... now I have another damn road block to get through... if it can't be used I'm going to have to find a maverick pedal assembly again... I'm getting extreamly fustrated... I would appreciate any and all info. thank you.

You can graft the clutch pedal into your pedal support
    with some thoughtful modding.
Cutting, welding, and fabbing a must though.

I am not sure, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised if a set of
Maverick pedals was worth several times what a set of
Stang pedals are worth. Unless the part is exceedingly
rare, Stang parts are dime a dozen nowadays. You might
do some research though. I could be wrong. The Stang
pedals might bring enough from a sale to pay for a set
    of Maverick pedals.

Unless you can find the pedals in a yard, they sell for quite a bit of money.

I already have some maverick pedals installed. and I still have some extra mustang pedals that are probably worthless.

Unless the brake pedal is for disc brakes, only the clutch pedal is really worth any money on that Mustang set up.

Clutch pedals are the same for a 1967-68 Cougar or Mustang. Brake pedals would be different between those two years.
A 1967 brake pedal is straighter, than a 1968 due to the collapsible steering columns, which are thicker and were DOT mandated in 1968.
