The car does not have hood scoops. I had all the info off the door tag wrote down, but can't find it now. All I remember is it is a Q code VIN. The car supposedly has every option available, aside from the hood scoops. My uncle ordered a Marti report on it several years ago, but I would imagine it went up in flames with the rest of his house and my grandpa's Boss 429 this time last year. The car is complete, but the drivetrain is in storage, not in the car. But he does have the original engine and trans. I don't know what the switches do, but I do know sun roof is factory. I'll give the car a closer look over next time I am up there.

My dad also had a rust free '67 Cougar he gave $300 for in 1997. It was about the same color as the '68 on ebay, and had black interior. 289, 3 speed manual. Had Magnum 500's on it. He started to restore it, got as far as getting the body ready for paint, and had eveything for the interior. Then we moved, and with nowhere to store the car, he sold it. I remember spending some long nights in the garage crawling around in that car chaseing wires trying to get the sequential turn signals working. That was a great car. He later told me I could of had the car for $300. Well dad, thanks for telling me a year after you sold it. :slap:

I loved that car also. He did a very good job on the body work also, considering it had bullet holes in it when he got it. lol
And I also like the 70 styling better.

Derek, according to my book, which only breaks combinations down by engine and transmission and body style. 1967 standard hardtop (non-XR7) S code 390-4V and heavy duty 3 speed manual transmission 1 of 339.

Any big block Cougar is rare. This is a 6.5 litre which is a non-GT,
GT's got disc brakes as a mandatory option. Along with a set of heavy duty springs and larger sway bar. Any 1967 car with only 65,000 miles is also an exception.

If you know the interior color code I could also breakdown the exterior paint/interior color combination too. Inverness Green is code Y.
This would be just a color combination breakdown.
