69 stang parts for a mav?

    I've heard of someone using body parts from a 69 stang on their 71-72 mavs. Are these really that similar, or would this take a major fabrication job to make it happen?

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    Yep...major fab is the correct word here.

    That's what I was thinking too. but one guy I talked to swore that the front and rear air dams (below the bumpers) would bolt right on.

    Couple guys here claim to be using 69-70 rear valances with no issues...
    I don't know personally, they look close enough.
    The front valances are not close though, I doubt they work.

    The guys using the rear valances, I believe use them because of the exhaust cut-outs.

    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    Mr Hackman has a 69 stang Front spoiler on one of his Mavs.

    Yeah, the Stang chin spoilers look cleaner than the Mav spoilers IMO...
