Has anyone tried to put disc brakes from a 70 mustang on a 70 maverick. Not sure if this is possible or not but I have everything from spindles to control arms. :hmmm:

Way more folks here run the stock drum/drum valve than those that actually swap the valves. No one has ever posted a problem. If you want to be thorough without swapping the valve, just put Crown Vic discs out back, then the front and rear brakes will be equal strength again and the stock valve will be the ticket! ;)

I have those 70 mustang disc on my 63 ford fairlane of a 428 cobra jet and man they are much better than both my mavericks disc brakes !!!!! and I replace all the junk on the 76 mav disc brake system...with all new junk(replacement parts) but the big block disc are better in my on opinion... I should have gone after market on my 76 mav
