72 comet interchange with a 77 maverick

    77 4 door maverick
    i am looking at a 72 comet that has been sitting in a feild for about 9 years and i have a 77 maverick how much of the 72 will fit the 77 i realy would like to make the 77 more like the 72 sence the 77 is on the road.
    part 1 seats 72 bucket 77 bench
    part 2 bumpers
    part 3 tail lights
    part 4 hood and grill
    posably ann engine swap the 72 is supposed to have a v8 but i have not seen under the hood. oh both are 4 door cars.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    Allmost all the parts are a bolt on swap from one to the other. Except the small bumper swap...Its not hard just requires a bit of drilling and fender modification. Do a search on "small bumper swap" on the forum,you will gain all the knowledge you will need.

    thanks i have looked at the bumper post in the past but will refresh my self when i get the car.
