where exactly is it? also what did I take a picture of?
I went back and re-read your post and performed the test. negative on both tests. I couldn't get the dash light to turn on, nor my test light. I read somewhere else to tests ACV at the 'S' terminal with A&F jumped, and I got .01. Just tried jumping again and it does not raise my volts at all. Something is drastically wrong.

Exactly, it's wrapped in the harness, i believe I only found it with resistance tests...

For the dash light test at regulator plug the resistor really isn't all that important... The light should burn with that connector grounded, if not there is a open somewhere between socket and the connector...

I see where you're talking about with the resistance wire and the green/red wire. they go into the same slot. they both look fine under there.
with they key on, I get .3v on the back of the I terminal, but full power at the light socket. soo idk

i am editing this. the volts on 'I' go up and down now, anywhere from 6 to 9v, but my powerprobe isn't making the sound, maybe because it's low, but still no light. Also am I supposed to get batt volts with the key on at the 'A' and alt?

I'm starting to understand this diagram a little more. I see the resistance wire actually runs from the firewall connector to the ignition switch. The ALT light is on now, but stays on so it's telling me there's another issue. all terminals at alternator are good and tight. I tried the jumper wire jump once more and it didn't do anything. That tells me alternator, but like I said I had it tested good.
